Selena

She was a musician, artist, designer and singer who broke obstacles in the field. She was both traditional and modern, she was a Mexican American who brought the two worlds together in a distinctive way. Her name was rising but her sudden death broke it. It is also the case with a talented, charismatic and young musician is lost too quickly and is buried, many mourned the greatness that she could not yet achieve. In order to prevent her successes from going unnoticed, many fans over the last few times have been motivated to do even more. Selena's tragic death by shooting provoked a response from the Latino Community that was comparable as the reaction to deaths of Elvis Presley or John Lennon. Selena was a hugely well-known singer for Latinos across North America. But her songs touched the hearts of both young and the old. Selena is an edgy and sexy performer. She's often referred to in the media as Latina Madonna. But, she's also an admired role model since on stage, Selena exhibits a family-oriented attitude and actively takes part in anti-drug initiatives.
